All Scouts, whatever age group they are in, wear a uniform. This page tells you what uniform Cubs wear, and where you can get it from.
What uniform do Cubs wear?
Thesedays the uniform is a lot more practical and modern than it was 105 years ago. Uniform varies slightly from group to group, in Billinge we require all the cubs to bring/wear the following to every cub meeting or activity:
- Green cub sweatshirt
- Navy blue activity trousers OR grey school trousers
(in the summer, navy blue shorts may be worn instead) - Smart, black shoes – not trainers
- Group necker and woggle
- A badge-book (from September 2012 onwards)
An inspection is held at the start of each cub meeting, where extra points are awarded to those cubs who have the correct uniform, and whose uniform is neat and clean.
