Beaver sleepovers, Cub days out or Scout summer camps, our minibus has done them all.
The Scout Group is lucky enough to own a minibus, thanks to lots of fundraising and a grant from the National Lottery. Without the bus we would really struggle to do a lot of the activities that we do, especially weekend and summer camps.
Other local community groups and individuals can hire the minibus for a modest charge when we are not using it. This helps us to cover the cost of running and maintaining the bus.

Our normal prices are:
- Evening – £37.00
- Day – £58.00
- Weekend – £95.00
- Week (7 days) – £320.00

- Insurance for drivers aged over 25, with a clean licence
Please note that we ask that you return the bus with the same amount of fuel in it as when you picked it up, and that you make sure that it is clean.

Licensing…
The rules about who can and can’t legally drive a minibus in the UK and what class of driving licence they need can be very complex. We regret that the scout group is not able to provide any advice on whether you are licensed to drive the bus – it is your own responsibility to check if you are at all unsure.
You should note that in the event that you are not licensed to drive the minibus you would not be insured.
